Get a group together, open a lobby, and Elapse runs the session. Every car and bike in that lobby is timed by the same system, to the same precision, at the same moment. Live ranking on screen as it happens.
No timing loops to hire. No transponders. No stopwatches, no phone videos, no debate afterwards about who actually won.
Whoever is quickest is quickest, and everybody can see it while it is happening.
Your coach does not need

Racing coaches and advanced driving instructors can watch everything live from wherever they are: your speed, your braking, where you are losing time, as it happens.

A tunnel or a data drop should not

Bridges, tunnels, tree cover, tall buildings. Normally that is the moment a timing device loses track of you and your run is wasted.
Elapse keeps going. Its motion sensors carry the measurement through the gap and pick the satellites back up on the other side, so the run you just did still counts.
Nothing more frustrating than a perfect pull that the box did not record. So we fixed it.

There is nowhere sensible to put a phone on a motorbike. So do not.
Elapse records everything on its own, with no phone connected at all. Ride, park, open the app, and it all appears. Up to 4 hours of full detail you can export and open in whatever software you like.
Works the same in a car, a kart, or anything else. But riders will feel the difference first.

Inside Elapse is a 240 MHz dual core processor doing all the work in the moment: reading the sensors, doing the math, working out when your run started and when it ended.
Your phone does not have to do any of it. Which means the numbers are just as good with your phone in your pocket, or in your jacket, or not in the vehicle at all.
